Thinking of Them!

Had a letter from my sister today...they are in a rest home. Hope I can have a nice spirit like she does when that day comes. He is not so good. Enjoyed what she mentioned, "It is not the years that count, but what we put into the years that will matter for eternity." They are so thankful for the G. story that came so many years ago. We think of them alot. Our love to them.

Jay's cousin, Karen and I had lots of fun Thursday shopping for bargins in the Scottsdale Mall. Scottsdale is the most upscale city in AZ. It caters to the wealthy, but it was fun and we did find some good sales..

It was a pleasure to meet up with a table of Canadian friends at the Paradise Bakery in Surprise after an already wonderful day! Who knows what a day will bring forth! We had a wonderful evening discussing different ones we all knew. It was so encouraging and uplifting! Thanks, friends!!

It was a breath-taking sky as we came home from El Mirage the other evening! The rainbow always reminds of God's promise that He would not destroy the earth with a flood again!

We had a fun day shopping, and eating our lunch outside! We even had some beautiful dogs near by!

Palm Tree Plantings!

The tree in the front yard fell over so we planted a palm tree in it's place. The back yard has nothing so we put a tree in the back yard...we have another one to plant in the opposite corner.

A New Toy!!

Snow!

I wish I could have gotten a picture of the snow on the Superstitions and the higher mountains beyond. It was oh so beautiful. Just so glad it was on the mountains and not on the valley floor!! I love snow, but from the window of my cozy house!! We had frost down here, tho.
