On Top of the Seattle Space Needle!

We visited the Seattle Space Needle again in July on the way to Glen Valley, B.C. It is an amazing veiw from 600 and some feet above the earth! Pudget Sound is in the background. On a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker!

Rafting on the White Salmon

This was very interesting the day when our old friends were with us. This is white water rafting on the White Salmon River in WA.

Old Friends!

That a nice surprise to have visitors from back home. This was in August. We spend a nice day together. This is where we go to Sunday a.m. meeting in OR. The Dalles, Oregon Dam is in the backgound. The dam is on the Columbia River that divides WA and OR.

Thanksgiving!!

It will soon be Thanksgiving. It doesn't seem possible. It doesn't seem like that time of the year here as it isn't cold or snowy or rainy!!!!! but I like it that way. I don't envy any of you up in the cold country!

A Day at the Coast!!

From Summer 2008

We spent the day at the beautiful Oregon coast on the tempetuous Pacific Ocean. I just love the ocean. I could sit all day on the beach and listen to the tide come in and go out. The noise is so very relaxing as the water splashes on the rocks. It is one of the wonders of God's natural creation. I love it!! My sister saw it once before in the 1950's so she was glad to get to see it again.
